Composted manures are excellent fertilizer amendment for yardeners. Whether you are setting out new trees and shrubs, preparing a vegetable garden, or getting flower beds ready for spring planting, dried manure is a wonderful material to mix with the soil at planting time.
Directions for using Dried Cow Manure

Potted Plants
Greenhouses and Seed Flats: Blend 1 part Espoma Cow Manure with 5 parts of a prepared potting medium. For seedlings, water and allow mixture to stand for 3 to 5 days before seeding. Once established, feed regularly with Espoma Flower-tone or Plant-tone.
Lawns:
To improve the condition of soil prior to sodding or seeding a new lawn, incorporate a 1 to 2 inch layer of Espoma Cow Manure onto the surface of the soil. For an established lawn that needs organic matter, add a ½ inch layer of Espoma Cow Manure. Water regularly, and feed with Espoma Turf-tone or Espoma Organic Lawn Food once the Cow Manure is no longer visible.
