Our definition of a hand tool is any tool that doesn't have a motor; those tools with motors are power tools.
We have selected those hand tools we consider top quality and able to do the job effectively and efficiently. We take into consideration, whenever possible, the ergonomic benefits of a particular tool. We believe that issue is important in today's growing prominance of arthritis problems and carpal tunnel syndrome.

Prepare For Winter Tip
Before storing the long wooden handled shovels, rakes, and brooms for the winter, rub down those handles with a coat of linseed oil. By spring they will be dry and impervious to wet conditions.
