Use showy sedums in a perennial border or in rows along paths and borders. They make good specimen plantings also. Use Goldmoss in rock gardens, between stepping stones, and in or along stone walls.
Enjoying Sedums
Cutting/Displaying Indoors: Showy sedums make excellent cut flowers. Placed in water in a vase, the stems will sprout roots, helping the flowers to stay fresh on display. Use these rooted stems to start new plants. Their flower heads can also be dried for indoor decoration. Cut them when they are at their peak and bring them indoors. Place them in a tall waterless container that will support their stems as they gradually dry in the air. The leaves will wither in a day or two and can be removed.
