Q: I live in Redmond ,WA.The foliage of 5 out of about 36 plants are turning brown and withering. The rest of the plants are lush green.The average height of each plant is 6 feet and planted by previous owner long time ago.This process has started about 5-6 weeks ago during hot and dry summer. Can we save these plants Please advise.How these plants affect the rest of the plants. I am also sending the images of the pants.

A: Looks like lack of water, but there may be other problems. If they were my shrubs I would get an onsite inspection from a certified arborist that works in your area and is familiar with local issues such as diseases, insects, cultural problems ( heat, lack of moisture, etc).
