Question From: WISCONSIN
Q: Last year a frost froze the blossoms on our Ash tree and so it did not flower. We also had a late dry summer. Now this Spring the bottom 2/3 of the tree leaved out but the top of the tree is not in some places and slowly leafing out in other spots. Could the drought have caused this or maybe ice on the branches early this Spring(April?)
A: You tree may have been attacked by the Emerald Ash Borer. I recommend you have an onsite inspection from a certified arborist. If caught in time you may be able to save the tree.. Best Nancy
