Question From: E. Cannon - Durham, North Carolina, United States
Q: We accidentally planted our astilbe upside down with the eyes pointed down (this is our first time with astilbe). So the root nest is on top. Planted these one week ago. Is it too late to go in and re-position these correctly--or should we just extract them and start over with new ones. Thanks in advance for your response
A: I'd dig them up and look at the condition root ball. If you see any sign of new growth replant them, if not replace them. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
