Question From: Berkeley, California, United States
Q: my indoor begonia leaves are getting very pale. starting out nice and green and slowly bleaching out. what's wrong? too much sun? too little? water?
A: Bleaching of leaves is usually caused by too much sun. Begonias do best in moist but not sodden soil. Books tell you to allow the soil to dry in between waters. That would mean the surface of the soil not the entire pot. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
