Question From: Kingston, Pennsylvania, United States
Q: My Bleeding Heart plant is healthy and bloomed well in the spring. However, only a few blooms came after and they looked withered and poor. The leaves still look healthy. Other years, I had nice blooms off and on all season. Can you help me?
A: I would guess it is a weather issue. High heat and lack of water will shorten bloom life and prevent new blossoms from forming. Hope for a cooler summer next year. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
