Q: can you grow peones in tnn. When I move to tn. I would like to take my peones with me.
A: You can grow peonies is Tennessee, but yours will probably not do well there. When you get there visit a couple of independent nurseries or garden centers and see what varieties they are selling for warmer climates. Then choose your styles and colors. Those that grow in in colder zones probably won't be able to take the intense sun or heat, but hey, if you are a gambler give it a try. Just be sure to keep them well watered.
