Question From: MAINE
Q: Hi Nancy....We have a beautiful border of cedar trees that come to a point at the top....they are at least 20 or 25 years old....after this past winter we are noticing that out of the 10 trees that we have....6 of them have lost almost all their leaves? needles? not sure what they are called...one is completely bare with only branches....can we still save them?....did the winter in central Maine affect them...I hope we can still save them...thank you for any advice you can give us...Caryn
A:
My advice to you is to have them inspected and possibly treated by a certified aborist, a trained tree doctor. That's how I care for my trees. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
