Q: I couldn't decide which of the problems above could have been mine. It is a cucumber problem. I have lower leafs that are yellowed and the stems are turning translucent. I had a couple of cuke that were about an inch and ahalf but i dont see them now. I have bird netting over the garden to keep the big stuff out. Any help would be appreciated. We also have tomatoes, peppers, onions and lettuce in the same 6x6 container. We live in nw florida and warter daily.

A: Scott, I think you are over-watering. The soil should be moist not water logged. Also, you are washing away the nutrients. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
