Q: How many cucumbers should I allow on one plant and do a stop them growing at said amount by pinching out top as one does with Tomatoe plants? I am growing them verticly.
A: Cucumbers grow very fast so you don't need to thin them. Tomatoes are pruned by taking out the suckers not removing the fruit. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
