Q: do voles or mice eat english ivy. we had plants along a wall that were doing great for three years. they have direct sun with drip irrigation. this spring all leaves are gone, plants look dead it's the end of april now. Also do voles eat creeping junipers, we have lost three of them over last two years.
A: In winter voles and mice will each the bark from the lower parts of the plants. Voles do eat roots. I suggest you set some traps and see what you catch. Peanut butter works well. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
