Question From: L. Lee - UTAH
Q: We have new landscaping in Utah, planting wine and roses weigela. They are dying off fast. Shriveled leaves and brown crumble leaves. We stopped over water and pruned back. I'm just confounded as to what to do. We are from Florida and this Utah landscaping is giving us a problem.
A: Because I don't live in Utah, I cannot advise you. I suggest you visit a good independent garden center or nursery for advice, Photos of your planting area and soil samples will also be helpful. Another source of information Is your county horticultural extension. Call city hall for contact info. Another source of information is a botanical garden, your have several in UTAH. Google botanical gardens in UTAH for more information and locations. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
