Question From: S. Grossmann - Sylvania, Ohio, United States
Q: My Shasta Daisy foliage (and now my butterfly bush leaves) are mottled by so many brown spots, the leaves are puckering up and dying. I see a flying yellow and black insect with a reddish head down inside the leaves. The insect is shaped rather like a lightning bug.I have never had this problem before. What can I do? Thank you!
A: Sounds like a 4-lined bug. The good news is they rarely kill plants and they have a short life span. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
