Q: I have 2 honey locust trees in my yard. Both tress were very late leaving out this spring. They also didn't put on many leaves-thin and a lot of branches at the top with still have no leaves. Now the bigger tree has leaves turning yellow and falling? Ideas?
A: My guess is you trees are in their death throes. It's the leaves that produce food for the trees to live and yours do not have enough for them to sustain life. However, miracles do happen.
