Q: I see many less hosta spikes coming up this spring than the last 2-3 years. What could be the problem? They have been very lush these past years so I'm stumped.
A:
Hot, dry weather has taken its toll. A hand full of good organic fertilizer, followed by a couple of inches of organic mulch will give them a boost. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
