Q: I have Cryptomeria trees and Emerald Green Arborvitaes that are four to ten feet tall. My soaker hose winds around each tree. How long should I keep the water on to ensure the tree roots get enough water?
A: I can't answer that. Depends on many things, such as the length of the soaker hose, the quality of the soaker hose and the water pressure, which probably varies during the day.
