Q: I have 90 ten foot eugenias that act as a hedge surrounding my property in southern coastal California. I have an ongoing annual psyllid infestation that I would like treat with Bayer Advanced Garden Tree & Shrub Insect Control granules, however it does seem awfully expensive. Is there an equally effective but less expensive way to resolve my psyllid problem?
A: I live in Michigan and am not familiar with chemicals sold in California . I would contact your county horticulture agent for advice. Also seek out the advice of a certified arborist.
