Question From: T. Connors - Rochester, Michigan, United States
Q: What can I do to make my lawn withstand the urine from my female Golden Retriever? Her urine kills my grass. Is there something I can put on lawn or soil to help neutralize her urine?
A: It's the salts in the dog's urnine that burns the grass. If you see where she pees, water the area well with plain water. Also, talk to your vet about product you might give here that will mellow her yellow. I know they are available, I just can't say for sure they work. Giving her plenty of water will also help.
