Question From: m. gee - MICHIGAN
Q: I am having difficulty finding out which species of mycorrhizea infect vegetable plants. I would be able to more accurately focus the correct species to the correct crop and insure the product I purchase would have those species in abundance. I require species not type.this is very important to me and I hope you can help thanks mike
A:
Mike, there are several species of Endomycorrhizal fungi that work with vegetables. The species added to the Organimax compost is Glomus intraradices, Glomus mossae, Glomus aggregatum. Glomus entunicatum is also listed on some products. Also of issue is the amount. Best and Happy Yardening, Nancy
