Q: Will regular lawn edging prevent ajuga from invading my lawn? I'm not sure if there are different size edging or not but if there are, what size do you recommend? Also, if I plant it next to an area where I have a layer of stones with weed barrier beneath, will it invade that area? Thank you for any information you can provide!
A: Ajuga will reseed, so I do not recommend planting it adjacent to a lawn. Eventually the weed barrier under the stones will break down and you will get a buildup organic material on top of it. then the ajuga will creep and seed into stones. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
