Q: I have hosta plants that have been eaten by slugs Can you recommend a over the counter product that can kill them Thank you
A: A product I use and recommend is Sluggo, made of iron phosphate. It is safe to humans and animals and will not wash away unless we have a deluge. Bonide Slug and Snail Pellets are the same product. Read and follow the label instructions. You will need to continue use of it to get control as the eggs overwinter and can live in the soil for long periods. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
