Question From: Beverly Hills, California, United States
Q: It's difficult to enjoy our pool with all the tiny annoying thrips biting us. Typical bug repellant with feet seems to have no effect. Do you know of any other means to repel thrips from biting humans? They especially love to congregate on floaties and the inner side of the pool edge. Although their bites are sharp and annoying, they leave no welt or telltale sign.
A: Tabitha, I live in Michigan and know nothing about thrips that bite humans. Google thrips in California and you will find lots of suggestions. Good Luck and Happy Yardening, Nancy
