Question From: CALIFORNIA
Q: What is the best way to remove labels from jars so I can re-use them?
A: One pretty good technique is to let the jars soak in hot soapy water for 30 minutes or more (one variation of this is to add white vinegar to the solution, but it doesn't always help). The labels should scrape or peel off easily afterwards. There may be sticky adhesive residue and often a scrubbing pad and soap and baking soda remove it quickly (one variation to try here is using olive oil and baking soda, but soap often works better). Best and Happy Yardening.
