Q: I have recently dug up all my ferns for relocation. What is the best way to store them for the winter?
A: Pot them up in moist potting soil and store them in a protected area for the winter. Be sure to keep the soil moist but not overly wet. An ice cube two placed on the surface of the soil every couple of weeks should do the job. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
