Question From: Lawrence Township, New Jersey, United States
Q: Hello. I have a pretty magnolia grandiflora in my back yard that is really blooming right now. Several years go I tried cutting and floating the beautiful flower in a crystal bowl. In no time the creamy white petal turned brown. What was I doing wrong. Is there a secret to their success off the tree? Many thanks if you can get back to me with any suggestions. Sally
A: One of the secrets is cutting them when they are just opening. Here's a website I found that gives lots of tips good luck. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
