Q: my hyacinth bulbs had a flower that was forming--but when i touched it ---it "dislodged"---came apart from the stem-----these i have in pots and brought inside after the required time----i have done this several years and never had a problem---hmmmm---help
A: Sounds like it may have suffered frostbite. The sudden drop in temperatures this fall combined with unusually cold weather my be the problem. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
