Question From: C. Schlesiger - CALIFORNIA
Q: Hi Nancy. My hydrangeas have had a terrible year. The leaves were curled and deformed as plant was growing. Flowers get brown spots and the leaves are getting mottled brown. Any ideas on what I can do? What is happening? They have been happy for many years. Thank you.
A: I think it's weather related. Hydrangeas don't do well in record high heat and drought. Stressed plants often get diseased. Keeping the plants watered will be helpful. I would visit a good independent nursery or garden center that sells these plants for further advice. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
