Q: We are in October. I live on the east coast, Clinton MD. Is it to late to overseed?
A:
The soil temperature needs to be 60 degrees for the seed to germinate. Use one on those cute little meat thermometers to check it out. Radiant heat will continue to warm for a period of time. You should be okay. But an unusual cold snap might zap it. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
