Question From: L. Fox - Plymouth, Michigan, United States
Q: I planned to transplant a small red bud tree this fall but broke my wrist. the earliest I could do it would be early December..assuming the weather stays relative mild, is it too late? Or should I wait until early spring? I much prefer the fall esp. With a difficult to transplant plant like the Red bud
A: Landscapers plant until the ground freezes. I suggest you invest in a package of Aussure Transplant Success and use it when you plant the tree. You can buy it at English Gardens. I swear by it. Good Luck and Happy Yardening. Nancy
