Question From: WASHINGTON
Q: we have a hedge with Japenese Yews. Last summer we noticed one plant with yellowing on the needles and severe rusting. This spring all our yews are getting yellow needles. We have sprayed with Season All Horticultural Spray Oul and put some systemic spikes in the ground. We have put down 16-16-16. Nothing seems to help. We do have high winds in this area. Any shrub saving tips for us?
A:
Call a doctor. I recommend you have an on-site inspection from a certified arborist. Treating a shrub blindly may do more harm then good. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
