Q: Our lawn is really nice. I noticed spots of yellowing grass that are light green to yellow with a little feather on top. They pull up very easily but then I have bare spots.What is causing this? Thank you

Diane, From your description, I'd say your lawn has a fungal disease. Take a couple of photos - one from a distance and one close up - to your local garden center for a confirmation. Bayer Advanced Fungus Control for Lawns in a hose end spray should take care of the problem.
