Q: My 15 year old Leightons were cut approx 4 meters in height thus exposing ugly truncated middles.. A lot of the large branches were cut... Will the trunk grow shoots to form branches?
A: Dear Michelle, Branches cut back to the point there is no green left will not flush new growth. You may get a tiny bit of green, but they will never restore themselves to their former glory. Best Nancy and Thanks for visiting Yardener.com.
