Q: Hi. I am looking for some low maintenance bushes for a planter box at my church. Boxwoods are so average. I am thinking of evergreen azaleas...any ideas from the expert? Thanks!
A: Rhonda, Unfortunately I can't help you with your quest, as I live in Michigan (zone 5) and we cannot overwinter shrubs in window boxes. I suggest you visit a couple of your local garden centers and the Missouri Botanical Garden for advice. Best Nancy and thanks for visiting Yardener.com
