Question From: S. Beckers - Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States
Q: I have a globe arborvitae with lower branches chewed off. The area that is chewed seems to form an entrance to the deeper area of the globe. Could this be rabbit damage? If so, are they trying to nest in this area. Thanks for any help
A: Could be Sue. The brutal winter left animals little to eat. Rabbits don't usually eat at evergreens to make housing. Any chance there are deer in the area? They love arbs. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
