Q: I was given a Mason bee house for Mother’s Day. I put it up but the bees didn’t come. I live in a rural area in Michigan’s thumb.
A: Mason bees hatch very early in the spring and have a fairly short life span. Your "house" was probably installed too late in the season. I'm sure you will have better luck this year. Best Nancy ad Happy Yardening
