Question From: Littleton, Colorado, United States
Q: Hello. I have a deep purple violet that is producing flowers nicely but the flowers have black spots on them - often on only one or two petals but on all flowers somewhere. All my others are fine. The leaves look fine but every flower that comes up is affected. Do I destroy it? What is it? It is getting worse now.
A: I assume your talking about African violets. I believe you have a fungal disease and unless you have an emotional attachment to this plant I would thank it for sharing time with you and put it in the trash. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
