Question From: j. thompson - Saint Albans, West Virginia, United States
Q: my oak leaf hydrangea wilts every day until iwater it. Ihave two other oak leafs close by and they do not do this. what is the problem?
A: To much sun. It's giving off more moisture than it can take up during the heat of the day. It should be in shade in the heat of the afternoon. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
Q: ...i have two other hydrangeas close to this one and they get the same sun. this plants leaves have not grown as much as the other ones.i dont have to water them every day.this plant not developing and growing like the other two. this did not start till this year. thank you
A: John, Your plant is not happy and I can't tell you why. Might be something in the soil. It may have suffered damage over the winter that you cannot see. You may need to call in a professional to help you figure it out. Best Nancy
