Question From: C. Boyd - FLORIDA
Q: Oakleaf Hydrangea Florida zone 9b - this plant is in almost full shade. We do have reclaimed water sprinklers. Is this damage two-spotted spider mites or something else? It happens, I spray the undersides of the leaves with soapy water 3 days in a row. Seems to stop, but will later recur on the upper newer leaves. Would I be better off moving this plant to a location with more sunlight? Trying to convert to a native plant garden so avoiding pesticides. Thank you!

A: Your hydrangea needs a minimum of 4 hours of sun daily. Move it. Best Nancy
