Question From: I. Ruderman - New York, United States
Q: I have several old rhododendrons. I put them in a different area because family hated them in front of the house. They have a few leaves at the tips, and 1 had a flower. They are completly bare branches except for a few terminal leaves. Will fertilizer, calcium, anything bring them back?
A: Irwin, Fertilizing will not bring them back. They need leaves to make food for them. Your best bet is to keep them well watered and see if they produce more leaves. Best Nancy
