Question From: C. Schlarman - Chandler, Arizona, United States
Q: ornamental pear leaves turning yellow, green veins remain, then leaves get brown on edges some fall off. no sign of cankers, or insects or spots etc. Have treated with high quality fertilizer, watched watering closely, deep water every 2 weeks, treated with a general insect and blight control twice. now treating for low Mg, and low iron, little or no improvement. Same thing may be affecting my peach tree next to it. Please help!
A: Chris, You may be killing the tree with kindness. There is no way for me to tell you what is wrong with your tree. I recommend you have an onsite inspection from a professional, a certified arborist. To find one in your area go to www.tcia.org and enter click on the find a professional box. Best Nancy
