Question From: D. Fletcher - San Tan Valley, Arizona, United States
Q: I have planted petunias in a well prepared bed of miracle grow soil and the flowers are blooming up a storm but the leafs are small and don't seem to be growing at all. How can I balance this out? Is it food, water, or soil. We are in Arizona and they have morning sun and afternoon shade since the sun gets real intense as the day progresses.
A: It may be a sun issue. Petunias need full sun - the more the better. They are also heavy feeders. I am a big fan of Jack's Classic Petunia Feed fertilizer. Follow the directions on the package. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
