Q: Hi Nancy -- While in Florida last year I picked up a pine tree seed and brought it home to see if it would take root. Well, it did and now my little pine tree is a foot tall 12 later. What type of soil, fertilizer, and watering do you recommend to keep the tree alive and growing? Thank you for your expert columns. They are the best.
A: Thanks for the kind words Angelo. Unfortunately I cannot answer your question as you don't know what kind of tree you have. I would contact a certified tree service in Florida . Can tell me where you found the seed and I will make a few calls. Best Nancy
