Question From: N. Hill - TEXAS
Q: How long after adding sulphate of potash to our garden do we need to wait. It has been two months, but all the plants (tomatoes, peppers, ect.) have white spots/scratches all over them and we can find no bugs on them. Our nitrogen is high also. Could either of those be the problem. Any help would be appreciated!
A:
Nancy, I don't know why you added sulfate of potash or what you are waiting for? White spots on leaves are often caused by sun burn. If you are using too much nitrogen, your plants may be growing so fast, the leaves are unable to harden off and are being burned. Covering the plants in the heat of the day may help and lay off the fertilizer. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
