Q: I just bought a pussy willow shrub, and then hot weather hit. It was still in the fiber pot and it got so dry that its leaves are now crunchy and nonfunctional. How do I bring it back?

A: My guess is it needs water. Plants in pots need to be watered daily in hot weather. Planting it in the ground will also be helpful. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
