Question From: j. collins - Iuka, Illinois, United States
Q: I planted an alba rhodie in March. It was healthy, a 3 gallon size and bloomed in May. I just returned from a trip and found it drooping and looking very sad. It was planted well with compost added to the hole and then mulched. There was excessive rain in May, but the site has excellent drainage. What do you suggest? I checked and can find no visible pests or damage
A: Check the weather in your area while you were gone . I think it may have suffered frost bite. Cut away the drooping foliage. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
