Question From: N. Lindley - NORTH CAROLINA
Q: I have a pale salmon colored rose bush, in coastal southeast. There are a few spots on leaves but not bad. There is moss growing on the main trunk of the bush and the bark has cracked exposing the inner stem of the plant. Is this due to a fungus and how do I treat if?
A:
Sounds like you could have several things going on Nancy. I suggest you cut a few samples and take them in to your local independent garden center that sells roses and ask for help. If you don't want to cut the bush take photos. Best Nancy
