Q: My rose of Sharon shrubs have a caterpillar that matches the bark of the shrub. These worms strip the leaves from the new foliage and eat holes in the older leaves. What can I do. This has been a regular nuisance for a couple of years.
A: Betty, You need to identify the worm or the caterpillar and then get a product that your are comfortable using to control it. Put a couple of leaves with the caterpillars attached in a plastic bag and take them to your local independent garden center or nursery for an accurate Id.
