Question From: J. WAGNER - Calvin, Oklahoma, United States
Q: I have a blue and black salvia plant, was really doing good ,then had lots of rain and now the leaves are turning. Black.I have tried to find the answer, but I have not found the reason.could you help. Thank you .
A: Leaves usually turn black from fungal diseases. I would spray it with a fungicide such as Serenade or Natria Disease Control. Be sure to hit the undersides of the leaves and do this in the very early morning or evening. Do not fertilize the plant, as that will do more harm than good. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
